Start your day on a high with this guided Gassho Meditation. If you’re new to Reiki this guided Gassho meditation is a great place to start. If you’re already a practising Reiki Master then use this meditation to set you on the right course of the rest of your day. USE HEADPHONES.
Place your hands in a prayer position in front of your heart and remain there for as long as comfortable. All you have to do is place your attention on the space between the palms of your hands. If you are a Reiki practitioner, draw the Reiki symbols for your level on your palms before you start.
This Gassho meditation uses the REIKI PRECEPTS which are as follows:
Just for today, I will not worry.
Just for today, I will not be angry.
Just for today, I will do my work diligently.
Just for today, I will be grateful for my many blessings.
Just for today, I will be kind to myself and all living things.

WHY ‘JUST FOR TODAY’?
We repeat this prayer every morning so we only need to think about today. To try to keep the precepts as promises for the foreseeable future could seem too much for some, so we say, ‘just for today’, every day.
