Animal Reiki with Captured Animals – How to Let Them Lead

23

Last week our topic was Animal Reiki with Captured Animals – How to Let Them Lead. Unfortunately the video didn’t record due to bad connection so Leah made some individual recordings wtih some of the residents and Christin the founder of the CARE Foundation in Apopka, Florida.

The CARE Foundation has been a SARA member since 2011 and has been host to many of our classes. Unfortunately being out in a rural area means the internet connection isn’t always the best.

Christin, the Founder of CARE, was gracious enough to repeat her section she did on the call with Bubbles, a brown spider monkey, who recently moved to CARE. Bubbles has made a wonderful transition thanks to the care from the volunteers and Reiki!

What’s so beautiful about being at CARE is the animals are so open to the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki and to the students. These classes always highlight how incredible this method of Animal Reiki is and how it cultivates a deep connection between humans, animals and nature.

By the third day of class, the normally noisy property is so quiet it’s eery! Christin says that for a week after we leave, the property stays quiet. Everyone is calm and happy!
We had so many wonderful encounters with the animals. Of course the tigers and Chimera (the liliger) love Reiki and bask in the energy we are all sharing but even some of the shy animals, like the foxes, started to come out of their hiding places to connect. Ignozi, the resident crocodile, who never moves around this time of year, came out of the water and joined us in chanting!

And the wildlife loved the energy! A young, wild bear made a surprise visit to the property at night! Christin saw him running away and said he was a small bear – probably a teenager.

So how do we get these amazing results with the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki? We focus on building light and love within ourselves and focus on the love and light within the animal. We never focus on what’s wrong with the animal. You will even see in the video I made what happens when we focus on the negative. I was calling Tyrian, one of the resident tigers, Pigpen and he did not like it. He repaid me by splashing me with water and tiger sweat!

Animals have shown us over and over how the energy of love is healing. When you learn the Let Animals Lead® method, you learn many different ways on how to easily cultivate love within you and to see the love and light in others.

Be sure to watch the video to hear some of the tips I share and to see some of the residents of CARE. If you’d like to learn more about CARE, be sure to visit their website ( And look for more classes there that will be coming up in the next few months!
