Dive into the heart of Chicago with Heather McCutcheon, the driving force behind Reiki Brigade.

This remarkable group of practitioners has extended Reiki to institutions ranging from the Chicago Police Department to local schools and medical centers.

Discover the stories, challenges, and transformative experiences as Heather details the journey of sharing Reiki with some of Chicago’s most essential organizations. Whether it’s a ‘lunch-n-learn’ or a dedicated Reiki session, learn how the Reiki Brigade is changing the narrative on energy and community service, to make Reiki mainstream.

Heather McCutcheon left corporate America in 1998 to study massage therapy in search of a greater sense of purpose. She shunned metaphysics until the universe challenged her to open her mind with an unmistakable invitation. Today she is a licensed massage therapist, Reiki practitioner/instructor, author, and founder of the Reiki Brigade. Her book, Connecting the Dots, from ad exec to energy practitioner tells her story of evolving from Reiki skeptic to Reiki activist. Since 2011 the Reiki Brigade has offered more than 6,000, ten-minute Reiki demos to large Chicago institutions and communities in crisis.
