Reiki Dry Bathing | Level 1 Reiki Training 1 | Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh

Reiki Master Shawn Ferttita demonstrates the Kenyoku technique, also known as the “Dry Bathing.” This practice serves to cleanse and release negative or stagnant energy from the practitioner’s energy field. Traditionally done before and after a Reiki treatment or energy work, Shawn prefers incorporating this technique throughout the day as a simple means of clearing negative energy.

When dry bathing, the practitioner employs symbolic and intentional movements, using their hands to gently brush or “wipe” their body and energy field. The aim is to eliminate any accumulated energetic residue or blockages, fostering a sense of energetic balance and clarity.

If you’d like to learn about this Reiki technique and many more, sign up for our Reiki Level 1 Training on Saturday, February 10 from 10AM-4PM in our Monroeville location.
