This Is How I Limit Burnout In Reiki

36

There are instances when I have people waiting for my help, but I feel like I’m handed another dish at a dinner table where I’m already full.

And dessert is not even close!

Burnout. Is indeed a recognized issue among healthcare professionals, including those in holistic practices such as Reiki.

A lot of your emotional bandwidth is required.

And… it doesn’t take too many random sessions to feel drained.

But burnout doesn’t come from the practice itself.

It results from self-constructed obstacles like taking too much work without proper care.

To keep a healthy practice and continue doing your best work, it’s crucial to prioritize your well-being.

That’s why I like performing a brief grounding meditation after each session and activating Cho Ku Rei Reiki on each foot to preserve balance and stay centered.

Short, frequent breaks, afternoon walks, and even power naps are also great contributors to maintaining healthy energy levels.

So, put yourself first in order to be in service to others.
