Some tips for helping to integrate Reiki energy:

• There is nothing special you need to do with your body or your hands, your thoughts, or your immediate space, in order to receive Reiki. The Reiki healer has got all that covered for you! 😉 The best way to receive Reiki is to sit or lay back, try to relax your body and mind as much as you can, and just enjoy the experience and let the Reiki flow to you.

• You might take a nap, you might hum a tune subconsciously to yourself, you might just meditate and listen to the music, or you might gaze at the candle flames or hand motions, or the picture in this video, to help you relax and get out of your head for a few minutes and enjoy some time for yourself.

• Reiki is flexible enough that it can have a positive impact on you even if you listen along while multitasking, if you absolutely need to.

• However, that said, Reiki is best integrated when you are in a receptive and relaxed state, such as laying down and meditating, napping, or even in a trance like dance. Being mentally distracted will not deter Reiki from healing your energy, but you may feel the impact more fully hours after receiving your Reiki healing, such as when you are about to fall asleep or when you first wake up the next day.

• Finally, you may find that stretching your muscles and fascia, eating a light protein-rich snack or some fruit, doing some pranayama or relaxing deep breaths, and drinking plenty of water will help you to ground after a Reiki session, and help you to fully integrate the healing.

About Blue Fire Reiki:

Blue Fire Reiki is a form of Reiki that combines traditional Japanese Usui / Ryoho Reiki, with the “Feri current,” also called the blue fire or the blue flame by people who practice the Feri tradition founded by Victor and Cora Anderson in the early 20th century. This current of energy is also called “the Celtic weave” by Donna Eden of The Eden Method, and by other energy healers. Blue Fire Reiki was first created by Carrie Norwood in 2006, and the many descendants of her craft each have their own intuitive take on Blue Fire Reiki, as the Feri tradition is highly syncretistic and adaptable.

You may notice similarities between Blue Fire Reiki and qigong, tai-chi, sekhem, tantric yoga or kundalini yoga, and other forms of movement oriented energy healing that draws on a more Earthy energy. There are other forms of Reiki, like Holy Fire Kauna Reiki, that also use a bit more movement than traditional mainstream Reiki. Both ways of doing Reiki are perfectly valid, it just produces a slightly different energy sensation. Go with whatever spiritual healing modality feels the most healing for you.

In Blue Fire Reiki, the Earthy feeling “Celtic weave” energy of the blue Feri current, is combined with “the starlight swallowed in the belly,” the primordial light of all life. To Blue Fire Reiki healers, the blue flame is one and the same with Reiki, or Universal Life Force, or, the Holy Spirit as some might call it— the burning bush of the Bible, and the sacred flame of so many cultures and mythologies around the world. This fire is both the light of the universe, and, the subtle alchemical fire within, that heats the body in the blood, and draws warmth into our breath. It is synonymous with life itself. Some people also associate the blue flame with the blue star, Sirius, in the constellation Canis Major.

The Reiki healer of this channel likens the blue flame to an azure or sometimes cerulean color, hence why this channel is named Azure Flame Tarot. Some people see the flame as teal or turquoise, while others see it as a deep sapphire. Visualize what resonates for you as it is intuitively what you probably most need at this time.

PLEASE NOTE:
Reiki is considered a complementary form of healing that focuses on the spiritual and energetic side of life, and it is meant to collaborate with, but not replace, necessary medical attention. Reiki can be wonderful for helping to offer pain relief and energetic alignment, but it is not a panacea for all ills. Reiki is not a replacement for medical care given by a qualified health care professional, and it is not to be treated as a cure-all for diseases of any kind. Please do not drive or operate heavy machinery while or after watching or listening to any Reiki videos online, as the experience of Reiki can make many people drowsy or distracted. Always use discernment when deciding what is best for your own self-care, and exercise prudence when it comes to medical matters.
