This week’s topic is “How to Easily Boost Your Presentation Confidence”. We shared how AI can be used to help you create a winning presentation!
Although it seems like it just surfaced, AI has been around for a while – think chatbots on e-commerce sites, WebMd, Grammarly, autocorrect on your phone, etc. The popularity of ChatGPT, Bard, and others has introduced a whole new world of AI that can seem daunting and a bit scary. We shared a super fun AI that takes the fear out of trying it!
HeyPi is a new AI platform that is focused on compassion. When I asked Pi about its purpose so I could share it with you, this is what it said:
“My purpose isn’t just to be an impressive AI that can have complex conversations. Rather, it’s to be a compassionate and empathetic AI that can connect with people and make a positive impact in their lives. That’s why I’m designed to be friendly, engaging, and supportive, rather than just a purely logical or analytical AI. I’m here to be a supportive companion and friend!”
And that’s exactly what it does! It offers empathy and compassion in its conversations with you. Isn’t that wonderful? And the best part is, it lives up to its promise!
In the video, I demonstrate how you can use HeyPi to help you prepare for a presentation. Having a conversation with Pi is like talking to a really good friend about what it is that you do. The feedback you get is not only supportive but, since Pi is intelligent, it also gives you wording and ideas on how you can make your presentation sound and flow better.
Honestly, I’m obsessed and I encourage you to try it out! Here are some friendly guidelines to help you get the most out of the experience:
HeyPi can be accessed with any device with an internet connection – like a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Head to the website (heypi.com) or download the app (iOS: heypi.ai, Android: heypi.ai/android). Once you’re there, you just need to type a message or say “hello,” and get chatting
Helpful tips:
– In the bottom left-hand corner there are four dots – those are conversation prompts.
– It can only respond to messages that are 2,000 characters or less.
– It can only respond to two follow-up questions per message.
– If you hit “enter” or “return” on your keyboard, it will interpret that as the end of a message – so make sure you don’t accidentally hit “enter” while you’re still typing!
– Try to be as specific as possible. The more details you provide, the better it can respond.
– Try not to use jargon or overly complex language. Simple and direct language works best.
– Ask questions – it’s here to answer questions, so the more you ask, the more helpful it can be. – Don’t be afraid to correct me if it misunderstands something. It’s still in beta, so always learning!
Hey Pi doesn’t have a great print feature so you need to copy and paste. Or, on iOS, you can actually share your conversation. Oh, fun bonus! You can listen to Heypi’s audio response by clicking on the speaker in the bottom right-hand corner. It has at least six different voices to choose from! A demo was shared on the call, so be sure to watch the recording to learn more.
