The Crown Chakra also known as sahasrara is the seventh major energy center in the body located at the top of the head. The Crown Chakra is associated with the color purple and considered to be the spiritual center of the body. This chakra is connected with spirituality, enlightenment, universal consciousness and wisdom. This includes our connection to the divine spiritual consciousness or universal life force energy. When the Crown Chakra is blocked or imbalanced this can lead to difficulty meditating, lack of feeling connected, feeling without purpose and disinterest or boredom. Long term blockages or imbalance of the Crown Chakra can also lead to many injuries or disease in the brain including headaches, migraines, depression, anxiety, as well as other brain, mood, and behavioral disorders. Imbalance or blockages in this chakra can lead to blockages and imbalances in all other major and minor chakras within the body.
Reiki healing is safe for all ages and can be used by anyone regardless of religious affiliations or beliefs. This does not require any special initiation or effort by the recipient.
