This video is the next video in my Witching in the City series. In this video, I take you with me as I complete my Usui Reiki Level 1 Certification. My shinpiden, or Reiki Master, is Dr. Thomas Capshew and I am so blessed to have found such a knowledgable and gentle teacher. Our certification course was held at Aum Shanti Bookstore and Chakra Center here in NYC, one of my absolute favorite bookstores. Aum Shanti has a Hindu focus and it is there that I can find incense, books, statues and the other items that help me in my veneration of the Hindu deities that I typically can’t find anywhere else. They also have one of the best crystal, and one of the largest tarot collections, to be found in one place. Plus, they offer tarot readings and other spiritual services on site.
