Have you ever told someone that you do Animal Reiki, only to be met with a blank stare. We’ve all been there and in this session we discussed the most effective way to talk about what you do as an Animal Reiki practitioner.
Some of the tips that came out of the meeting include:
Adjust the message for who you are speaking to. You won’t present what you do the same to everyone. Meet people where they are.
Words matter. Avoid saying you heal animals, instead say you support the animals emotional well-being.
Use the word meditation instead of the word Reiki. Find out why people are more receptive to the word meditation than they are Reiki.
Talk about the benefits of the human/animal bond.
