Every child deserves to feel safe, protected, and secure. However, not every child does.
Most parents see safety as physical protection from harm or providing the essentials for their children. But safety also means providing support on an emotional, psychological, and spiritual level.
When we don’t feel safe as children, this creates a wound in our psyche, which transitions into adulthood. Our adult selves often repress this painful wound, but its impacts can be profound and very serious.
In this video, I’m sharing what the wounded inner child is and how to heal it with Reiki. This video includes a guided meditation for Reiki practitioners that is designed to help you heal and reparent your inner child.
