Sisterlocks is a wonderfully beautiful style, but I consider it an at-risk style just like other microlocked styles. I can justify this conclusion. I would never let my locs go, unless I absolutely had to part with them. This journey however is not for the faint of heart. You need to go into it FULLY INFORMED and remain informed, and be an advocate for your overall hair health and your intention to wear this style as long as it’s feasible.
