Reiki is a Japanese word ‘Reiki’ titled like force energy. It originated in Japan. It is about discovery, there is no right or wrong in reiki, one simply uses its palm to give energy. There are new age healers who like to give energy Reiki healing by just scanning the body and not touching them and there are these traditional healers who like to touch the body in direct contact to be able to give a direct Reiki energy. It really depends on culture and preferences of the person receiving the energy as well as who is giving the Reiki energy. The sui system is specifically the lineage of dr.Dr. Mikao Usui the founder of the Reiki. It was spread through the rest with few human modifications and slightly different styles like I mentioned, you could be touching the person to give the direct Reiki or you could be laying your hands and the Reiki energy flows through the persons body. The best part of the Reiki along with its healing is that there is no religion attached to it, no believe attached to it.
It’s pure energy, just energy. It flows through the body. You may use your palm, you have to be open to receive it. The more open you are, the better it is for the Healer to channel the energy through the palms and your palms energy. Reiki energy flows through the healers palm, the person receiving the energy actually receive hit. That’s the power of Reiki. While is is common for people to fall asleep during Reiki healing because it is so calming and soothing the effect, it’s almost like a refreshing energy going into the body along with healing. It takes time depending on the individual’s root cause of problems.
