Great way to calm down animals, especially dogs …
This channel is all about my rescue dog Nyx who we adopted in May 2021 at almost one year old. She was returned to her foster mom only about 6 months after she got adopted as a small puppy. According to her first “home”, she was digging in the yard and got a shock collar to prevent that.
Nyx did not have toys or chew bones and never went on a single walk which came apparent as I walked her for the first time. She did not know what to do with the big world and was very nervous and scared.
Nyx is a different dog now. With lots of patients, love, and proper guidance she gets excited when I take the leash out to go for a walk. She learned to sit, lay down, and so much more. Her education is not done. Still nervous to drive in the car … but a real good girl at the vet … the fear of foreign and new stuff sits deep. She is loving, and playful. I love her to pieces.
This channel is about spreading awareness. Rescue dogs are wonderful. All they need is love and patients. I admit, sometimes a lot of patients. But it is so worth it … every step of the way.
I will upload a video weekly with all the fun stuff Nyx is doing. Sometimes little tips and ideas for you to try out. My name is Christina Glazar and I am NOT a dog trainer. I am just crazy in love with dogs and mostly with my Nyx who walked into my heart and won it over almost immediately.
I am a volunteer at the Humane Society and work with dogs. Occasionally I will share what I experience over there and what I learn along the way.
