My cat (5-year old neutered male, outdoor) got bitten and scratched by a marten (or that's what we suspect) last night. The wounds are small, but one is very close to his left eye (the eye itself looks OK, though). After a friendly soul cleaned his wounds and treated them with a salve for pets and small kids, he spent the whole day sleeping (nothing too unusual this time of the year, not much fun to be had outside), good thing he doesn't scratch the wounds or licks them too much.
I am just a bit worried because he hasn't eaten yet. Playing this for him so that he gets his appetite back and for the wounds to heal fast and without an infection. (He hates going to the vet, and I would like to spare him the visit, but if I don't see any progress tomorrow, we'll go, of course.)
Upgrade: Looking good so far. He demanded and ate some food, now he is resting again. He is a clever boy and knows what's good for him.
Anyway, thanks a lot for this video and my best wishes for everyone whose furry (or feathery or scaly or…) friend is not well.

Currently playing this for my new adopted pet .. he’s still adjusting . I can tell he misses his old owners and the transition from the shelter has been a doozie . I am a reiki practitioner myself and have been thinking about serving animals as well. His energy is so calm and serene right now.

Well this is my first time to listen to this music with my cat. At first he seemed not to care. But then he lays down and soon falls asleep.

Robin, thank you so much. My dog was yelping and moaning, obviously in pain or nausea, and I played this on the computer and held her paws – she was asleep in 10 minutes – played the whole session – happily snoring.

My 3 pound 15 year old puppy mill survivor Chihuahua, ( Miley ) leaped out of my room mates arms 2 weeks ago and there’s no emergency care on the weekends in the remote area we live in. She was unconscious and I held her, soothed her, talked to her, prayed out loud, wept, and found this music.
The next morning we took her hours away to a emergency hospital where it didn’t look good.
She survived, but has cognitive issues and intense pain at times. This recording has helped her so very much to decrease the pain and comfort her.
She is a living miracle.

I’m with her 24/7 while she heals and every single time she gets scared or overwhelmed this music stops her shaking and howling.
