Crying is what allows us to heal. When you bring emotional energy to the surface through writing, therapy, energy healing, it has to come out and is why it is natural to cry and feel that pain that's been in your cellular memory from whenever the wound/emotional blockage first occurred whether it was yesterday or when you were 3. Since we were not taught that we are meant to release past wounds/energy blocks than hold them in, it can feel confusing when our emotions come to the surface when we are healing. Keep on healing. You are transmuting stored trauma/pain/wound/blocks and that energy is transforming from blockages and is being cleared for more "light energy" which is our natural life force energy that hasn't been turned into wounds/pain/ etc. Wish you all the best on your journey.

Hey sis, I had my first reiki yesterday and had a major emotional breakdown during, like I was crying so hard and I couldn’t control it. I wanted to look on YouTube to see other people’s experience and if mine was normal.
I felt incredible after , centered for the first time ever, able to deeply breathe for the first time.
I also had the best sleep ever and didn’t need coffee this morning which is a major addiction I have.
Also I was so tired after too. Like I felt depleted but in a good way.
One last thing, I recently had my hormones tested and I found out that my estrogen levels were way high / off the chart and that can cause women to feel overwhelmed emotionally / can’t juggle like etc . So now working on also balancing those levels out . It just made me wonder how many other people out there feel crazy or off and think it’s just them, when it can be something like hormone imbalance.
