Tera-Mai Reiki Training with Janet Kingston
Tera-Mai Reiki training is a one day workshop where Janet Kingston teaches students this ancient hands-on method of healing. Reiki channels energy from the root of universal life energy through the practitioner’s hands to enhance physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
You need no previous ecperience and many people starting out on their healing journey begin with Reiki as it’s much more about following your intuition rather than hour after hour of study.
The energy cannot be guided by the practitioners mind, the energy goes where it is needed and therefore it is not limited by the practitioners’ level of experience. Some people may already feel a tingling sensation in their hands and learning Reiki helps them to build a framework for their healing gift.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.” An exact translation is difficult, but this communicates the essence of it.
After your Tera-Mai Reiki training, you are asked to do your best to live your life by the following principles to promote peace and harmony.
The Ethical Principles of Reiki written by Dr. Mikao Usui the founder of the Reiki Healing System are as follows:
Just for today do not worry.
Just for today do not anger.
Honour your parents, teachers and elders.
Earn your living honestly.
Show gratitude to everything.
Janet Kingston has been teaching Tera-Mai Reiki since 2004 and sees a Reiki Class as a special day which should be seen as Ceremonial. It is also advised that you avoid alcohol etc. around Reiki Training.
In level 1 you are introduced to the Chakras and how to clear and balance them. Students will learn how to do a healing on themselves, their family and friends and also how to do a distant healing. They will learn how to use a dowser or pendulum and will also learn how to ground and protect energy.
There is an attunement to Tera-Mai Reiki 1 which allows students to tap into an unlimited supply of life force energy. Your vibration is raised with each Reiki attunement and to allow this to happen you have to go through a clearing process which takes 21 days.
You will leave with the wonderful gift of Reiki which can open you up to limitless possibilities, a Certificate for Tera-Mai Reiki Level 1 and a full manual to read and follow.
Janet advises students to leave a gap of several months to integrate what you have learnt in Reiki 1 before you can move onto the next level.
In Tera-Mai Reiki Level 2, the Reiki energy is increased and you learn the Reiki symbols which further empower what you have learnt in Level 1. There is an attunement to Tera-Mai Reiki 2 and, as with Level 1, you will find that your vibration is raised further. To allow this to happen you have to go through another clearing process. You will receive a Certificate for Tera-Mai Reiki Level 2 and a full manual to read and follow.
Janet again advises leaving another gap of several months to integrate the learnings in Reiki 2 before moving onto the 3rd level.
In Tera-Mai Reiki Level 3, which is the Master / Teacher Level, you will be shown how to teach each level. You will also learn 2 further symbols and how to do Planetary Healing.
There is an initiation into the Order of Melchizedik, Yod and the Violet Flame Attunement as well as Reiki Level 3. There is an attunement to Tera-Mai Reiki 3 Master / Teacher and as with Level 1 and 2, you will find that your vibration is raised further. Again, to allow this to happen you will have to go through a clearing process.
Instructions will be given as to how to teach each level and there will be plenty of time to practice. You will receive a Certificate for Tera-Mai Reiki Level 3 Master / Teacher Level and a full manual to read and follow.
