The Solar Plexus Chakra also known as Manipura is the third major energy center in the body located at the center of the abdomen above the naval. The Solar Plexus Chakra is associated with the color yellow and the element of fire. This chakra is connected to our will and personal power. This includes our motivation, self esteem, confidence and sense of purpose. When the Solar Plexus Chakra is blocked or imbalanced this can lead to lack of motivation, lack of will power, low self esteem, indecision, fatigue, and eating disorders. Long term blockages or imbalance of the Solar Plexus Chakra can also lead to many injuries or disease in the body including the digestive system and abdomen. Imbalance or blockages in this chakra can lead to blockages and imbalances in all other major and minor chakras within the body.
