Before committing to a spiritual practice, my negativity was eating me alive.
I could not find Joy, everything seemed superficial or fake.
I had never talked about heavy things that had happened in my life, I still struggle sharing, I erased it from my mind.
What I realized is that if you pretend you’re strong and okay, you cannot align with your Soul and Purpose.
I had to get real, with myself.
I started the Reiki Path and almost everything changed in my life.
I stopped living for others or caring so much about what was expected from me.
What I wanted was a life away from the city, I wanted to be able to go to the beach everyday and not have to wait for my 4 day annual holiday to escape for few days (escape my life).
I wanted to live my life on my own terms and if I had followed the corporate system that would have been impossible.
It takes courage to leave behind the security and safety a corporate job can give us but…
how much does it cost to give your power away and follow the masses?
You’re the only one who can connect to your heart’s desires and decide to be bold and take action.
And what pulled me back and aligned me with Purpose, Abundance and Joy was Reiki.
Why?
Because Reiki connects you to your Spirit and the Divine, and if you listen to your Heart, you can only have a good life (not always easy but that worth living with no regrets).
